About

Hello! I am a french college student with a background in biotechnology, genetic, and neuroscience. I like cats, books, japanese culture, photography, and have a healthy addiction to clementines. But enough about myself! What about this blog?

The idea of it was born from a childish wish of my younger self: I wanted so badly to have claws like a cat! When I became a bit older, I realized that it was obviously impossible. To my greatest disappointment, I was a human kid, not a kitten! What a shame, I would have made a great cat. Then, when I started to delve into biology back in high school, I wondered. Would it really be impossible? What about breathing underwater? And creating a unicorn? How would it be done? Of course, that is also impossible, and probably more than a bit unethical, but I entertained myself with crazy ideas like those. And much later, I thought: wait, I could write about this! I like biology, I like teaching, I like weird theories, I could mix the three! And TADA! This blog was born.

I try to explore biology topics such as photosynthesis by asking questions like "how could we live from water and sunlight". It is a way to both have fun and learn something new.

Of course, none of those weird questions are mean to be applied in real life, they are just plays of thoughts and most of them are probably unfeasible in any case. But I always wanted to theorize on how to create my own fire-breathing pet dragon! And why not share it with people? So here we are.

Have fun!
